Havre de Grace Youth Sailing Summer Program
If you’re a parent looking for an exciting way to introduce your child to the world of sailing, look no further than Havre de Grace Youth Sailing’s Summer Program. Our program is designed to teach young sailors ages 7-17 the skills they need to become confident and competent sailors while having fun on the water.
Program Dates and Details
The program runs from June 17th through August 9th, providing eight weeks of instruction and hands-on experience. Our experienced instructors work with young sailors to teach them the basics of sailing, water safety, and the principles of physics behind the sport. We offer a range of classes for different skill levels, from beginners to advanced sailors.

Water Safety Education
Water safety is a top priority at Havre de Grace Youth Sailing. Our instructors teach students the basics of staying safe on the water, including proper use of life jackets, navigating currents, and avoiding hazards.
Fun and Games on the Water
We believe that learning to sail should be a fun and engaging experience. In addition to instruction on sailing techniques and water safety, we incorporate games and activities into our curriculum to keep young sailors excited and involved.
